Key course information Study language structure (grammar), the study of meaning (semantics) and the social functions of language (sociolinguistics). Develop communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Study the philosophical problems faced by today's decision makers. You will take part in a minimum of 240 hours of work-like experience during your course, with the option to take an extended 10-week work placement in your second year., or study abroad.
